At Top One Power, we take the safety of our diesel generator sets very seriously in addition to reliability and performance. Inside our generator enclosures, you will find visible warning signs and earth leakage relays to prevent users from electrical risks. See how our precautions help protect you from electrical and physical dangers:
Radiator fan protective guards
Inside a front in end out enclosure set powered by a Scania DC13072A 02-14 engine, for instance, we installed protective guards for the radiator fan due to higher protective request. This design helps prevent unnecessary access that could endanger workers performing routine maintenance or inspections, without inhibiting airflow or functionality.
Heat shields
Apart from protective guards for moving parts, we also provide heat shields to avoid direct contact with hot engine components, such as the turbocharger and exhaust pipe. The heat shields are internally lined with heat absorbing cotton inside. We additionally added heat shields covering the cylinder head for further protection.
Support holders and Non-slip walking surface
We route the cables and hoses with support holders that prevent contact between internal components. This prevents frequent vibration during operation that could potentially lead to oil or fluid leaks over time. Moreover, for each diesel generator enclosure set we built, we installed diamond plating on the floor inside the generator room. It provides a non-slip walking surface for a safer work environment.
As industrial generators handle significant electrical loads and mechanical components, safety should always be the top consideration. Feel confident knowing more about our custom safety features that suit you – your peace of mind is always our highest priority!
