Customised Components in Diesel Gensets
Different users have their unique generator working conditions. To enhance the durability and convenience of using generator sets, we will assemble the following components for the generator sets depending on the client’s needs and operating temperatures:
Drip Tray
We can add a drip tray under the diesel engine. When doing maintenance such as changing the fuel filter, lube oil filter and water filter, oil and fuel drips may spill and pollute the environment inside the enclosure set. The tray helps to contain the liquids, so it is easier to do cleaning and maintenance duties conveniently.
Float Valve in Fuel Tank
In some situations, we install a float valve internally in the fuel tank. The float valve helps to ensure the engine runs with sufficient fuel by maintaining the fuel level at an optimal level and preventing overfilling the tank.
Alternator Heater
At coastal areas or high altitudes, the relative humidity is higher while the ambient temperature is low. When the alternator is inactive, there is a risk of moisture accumulation. An alternator heater reduces water condensation that may deteriorate electrical connectivity inside the alternator.
Engine Heater
A diesel engine requires an optimal temperature to start. When exposed to freezing temperatures, the engine and internal fluids cannot run timely and smoothly. By keeping the engine warm, an engine heater shortens the time to warm up the engine from a low temperature to an optimal temperature, maintaining desirable start-up requirements for the diesel engine.
With the assistance of these components, the generator sets have guaranteed performance and a lengthened longevity even though the units are in harsh environments. Consult us if you need flexible solutions for your generating units!
